Tying the trash bag to the tree or pole of the EZ -Up/pavilion is one way to deal with trash in your unit but there are other options... There are commercial collapsible trash cans on the market, you could pick up a pop-up hamper at the dollar store, or if your lashing skills are good you can make a trash bag holder. One important note about trash at Camp Bay Breeze, it must be taken home with a leader every night. Camp does not have a dumpster.

The Camp Bay Breeze leadership team has been planning Camping in Candy Land over the past year. We have a few new members to the team this year that we would like to introduce. Since Camp Bay Breeze is a girl led program, the team felt it was important to include a teen delegate. Tori joined the team in September and provided input on all decisions made for Camping in Candy Land. Olivia and Keagan also joined the team in September. It has been a pleasure having them on the team. If you have questions, concerns, comment or ideas about Camp Bay Breeze do not hesitate to reach out to any member of the team. Thank you to Bishop Bus Services, LLC for your continued support of Camp Bay Breeze. Without you our campers wouldn't have a ride to camp. The road is always bumpy, and parking can be a little tight, but we are so excited for your arrival every morning. Rain or shine we can always count on you! Go By Bus!
Many of the units at camp need to have Ez Ups. Camp provides 1 Ez-Up to units that are not located under a pavilion. You are also welcome to bring one from home as well. We are guaranteed to have rain at least once during the week of camp! Here is a great idea to keep water from pooling around the supports. The EZ- Ups need to be staked down to avoid them blowing away. Don't want to stake them; you can use PVC pipes or old coffee containers filled with sand or concrete to create weights. At the end of every day the EZ Ups need to be lowered to avoid damage. You don't have to fold it up just lower the poles. Thank you, Ali Banholzer and the amazing team, at Wear Your Spirit Warehouse for your continued support. The quality of the products is superior and have stood the test of time. The team is friendly and professional. Our order is always on time. Visit everytimepromo.com for your promotional needs.
Thank you, Dollar Tree in Prince Frederick MD, for your in-kind donation of stationary supplies. Camp Bay Breeze will use these donations for adult leader training and the week of camp.
Every unit needs a banner! Work together to come up with a unit name and create your banner. Make sure that all the campers (adults too) are represented on the banner. All of the supplies that you need can be found at the shed. Carry your banner with you everywhere you go! On Wednesday the leadership team will judge banners at flag down. Winner will be announced on Friday!
Have the girls work together to set up their unit. It's a great team building activity. There are many ways that it can be set up but every unit should have:
